New Christmas CDS?

Deborah Allen is coming out with one that you can find on her website at www.deborahallen.com.
One problem I have with all-Christmas formats is that while one could assemble a Christmas music library of over 3,000 selections, those 3,000 selections might only encompass about 60 to 70 different songs!
That's why, if I programmed a music station, I wouldn't even start airing Christmas music until December 1st, then gradually ease listeners into the season (one Christmas song every three hours from December 1st-10th; then one every other hours from December 11th-17th; then one an hour from December 17th until 12 Noon on Christmas Eve) before going all-Christmas for just 36 hours (12 Noon Christmas Eve until, 12 Midnight Christmas Day).
Perhaps songwriters should come up with new Christmas songs so that those listening to all-Christmas radio don't end up hearing "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" every hour on the hour.

There's no need for anything new. All the good Christmas songs have already been recorded.
There are always new ways to arrange even the most venerable songs, and artists to put their own spin on them. For years the Xmas music rack looked like the book of the dead. Then in the 90's there was something of a boom in new holiday product by contemporary artists. Since then, the doldrums seem to have set in again.
Contemporary artists shouldn't be recording these songs.
I just heard some absolute garbage by Michael Bolton in a commercial which was described as holiday music. I wouldn't listen to that dreck anytime, much less Christmas.

I'm no fan of Michael Bolton myself, but one listener's "dreck" is another's favorite. Sounds to me like your tastes in Christmas music ended with those 1960's Firestone Tire giveaway Xmas LPS by Gordon MacRae...
Something like that. This junk was much worse than most of Michael Bolton's music. Some of his songs would sound just fine without HIM.
I'm just now getting to the point where I can accept "Jingle Bell Rock" and "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree". The kids on Trans-Siberian Orchestra's "Canon" also. Though the synthesized instrumentals on that don't appeal to me. And at no time will I ever accept that group's biggest hit "Sarajevo" (shortened version of the real title).
I'm also amazed at how much I like Josh Groban.
In general I don't like oldies either.

On the contrary. As with Taylor Swift, I think it is possible to deny he has talent, and to wonder what others must be thinking. They're entitled to THINK he's a talented singer. Most people do, I guess. As for Taylor, I remember her singing with Stevie Nicks live without technology, though maybe she's gotten better. Now Stevie IS talented. I don't care for most of her music ...
Now they're both talented songwriters in their own way, and they seem to be able to excite audiences. Well, Taylor can. I do remember how much better Laura Branigan sounded on "How Am I Supposed to Live without You?"
Let me get back on topic. I didn't ask where they got it, but the store where I got a new watchband had real Christmas music playing. Years ago I asked where they got their music and they said Muzak. If I was interested in paying for Christmas CDs, those are the ones I'd pay for.

By that, I mean I want to hear more of "Wrapped In Red," the new Christmas CD by Kelly Clarkson. She performed earlier this week, and I'll definitely want to hear more.

If it's by Kelly Clarkson, it can't be good by my definition.
Part of my objection to new music is this: I was reading that some people who have gone through a loss won't decorate, won't listen to Christmas music, won't acknowledge the holiday, period. But I had to give in a few years back when I heard The New Christy Minstrels do a song about wassailing while a group was decorating in a mall.
