So the Anaheim Ducks are battling for a division title these last two weeks of the NHL regular season and where do we find their game tonight on the radio? Well KLAC has the Dodgers; KSPN has the Lakers; KFWB has the Clippers; KTLK 1150 has the Kings; and the Ducks' flagship station KLAA AM830, owned by the same guy who owns the Angels, is of course carrying the Angels game. So-o-o-o-o-o we find tonight's Ducks game to be broadcast on that powerhouse of The Inland Empire, KTDD 1350. YIKES!! I guess KABC didn't want to bump the already-delayed broadcast of Mark Levin to carry the game. KRLA 870's night signal would even be better than what's receivable on 1350 AM in Orange County. While there must be a very small audience for pro hockey games on the radio here in SoCal, this is a big league team we're talking about. Can anyone name any other market in which this situation would happen?
