Radio Ratings

have the ratings for March/April come out yet?

Curious which one of my team have managed to eek ahead of the other in the first month... or even if they are doing worse after the split.

I do notice, though, that on the facebook side of things, Scott's page has Tons more activity in replies than Todds....and considering todd is going for the younger audience, I find that interesting.

In addition to ****************** (mentioned above) and allaccess.com ratings pages, New York's March 2014 ratings (2/27/14 - 3/26/14) can be accessed free (non-subscription) via:

Nielsen Audio PPM Schedule 2014: http://www.arbitron.com/downloads/ppm_delivery_schedule.pdf

Scott Shannon's first day at CBS-FM was Monday 3/3/14, the 5th day of this ratings period.

Wow, PLJ is way down there, and CBS moved way up.

Wonder how low it'll have to go before people in charge start to get worried.

The Fan took a bit of a hit too

The FAN is up in the NY ratings period just released on 5/12. They went from a 2.7 to 3.4.

WPLJ down to 2.1. I do not remember them ever being that low? WNOW beat PLJ with a 2.2, that has to be a first.

The Shark is up in Nassau/Suffolk, 1.8 to 2.4.

WOR up from 1.5 to 1.7, Cume 649,900 to 968,300. I would think these numbers would be slightly higher with die hard Rush/Hannity fans coming over from WABC.

Wasn't PLJ always hovering at 12, and now it's down to 16 or so?
Can that many listeners really be jumping ship because of just scott leaving? or did they do a little research into HOW the beat down occurred and are put off on the Todd show because of it?

Personally, I like the todd show, but if the rumors where true, I'd stop listening altogether myself. As it is, I find myself enjoying WCBS more anyway, and we will be at their summer blast off next week.

Any cume adjustment in April was from the Mets, not Rush and Hannity. Any Rush stampede occurred four months before when the show moved.

The Fan took a bit of a hit too

In men 18+, the Fan was up 1.2 shares, which is considerable. And nothing else matters.

plj needs to go alternative bottom line....

could WOR be testing the ratings of Hilarie Barsky in the morning
to decide if she will keep the show ?

So, how low do you think they'd have to go before they pull the plug? They dropped from about #12 to #21 in a little under 4 months. that's not really good for a number one market like new york.
Even though I don't listen, seems even wabc dropped to #21 as well...

I only tune in once a week now myself. And it seems like every 4 minutes they break for a sponsor. EVERYTHING is sponsored, making it even more unlistenable.
