Telemundo is reporting that Piolin was ordered by a judge to pay legal fees in excess of $100,000 for the six employees that he sued.

That translation is wrong and misleading. NBC doesn't own Univision, they own Telemundo.

Wherever this story came from, they got a key fact wrong:

Univision is not owned by NBC. NBC owns Telemundo, which does not have a radio division.

"Tweety Bird" (the English equivalent of "Piolin") was the morning show on many of Univision's Regional Mexican-formatted stations and a few not owned by Univision.

I just went and read the original article at the Telemundo website.

It appears the error was introduced in Art's translation of the article, as the original has no mention of NBC.

(By the way, does anyone besides me think that picture of Sotelo looks rather scary?)

Here is a correct translation....
