First and foremost, I think Clear Channel needs to do something with KUBE 93.3 soon. While KUBE does retract some of the listening audience for KQMV and KHTP, KUBE is not doing any favours for their sister station, KBKS, who finished behind KQMV in the May ratings. I'm curious to see what the June ratings depict, but I don't expect KUBE to make any major gain.
The other station I wanted to mention is KHTP. While they experienced great success during their commercial free honeymoon period, it appears as though the hype has subsided. While I do not consider their placement on the radio chart to be bad by any stretch, their ratings are not any better than they were before messing with the 103.7 format at all. I feel as though they were expecting "Hot" to be a major hit in Seattle with ratings soaring high above that of the original "Mountain". However, their success as "Hot" has been modest at best.
Lets see what you guys have to say. I thought this thread would be an interesting precursor to the June ratings (considering that the board has been a tad quiet recently).
