I think most Chicago radio listeners of a certain vintage automatically think of Tommy Edwards as "sidekick". In fact, his body of work in front of, as well as behind, the microphone compares very favorably with that of his longtime Hall of Fame partner, Larry Lujack. Here's wishing "Lil' Tommy" a long and happy retirement!
Agreed. Most people don't know that he was PD at WLS and hired Bob Sirott, Yvonne Daniels & Steve King among others. His body of on & off the air work was extensive.
