Goes to show you how much I follow the world of HD radio, djrage, lol. Didn't even know it existed on 97-1 before. That's kind of redundant, no? Isn't KKBQ's HD 3 Country Legends? Then KTHT's .2 was 93Q? I guess so folks up in Coldspring and Livingston could hear 93Q with an HD receiver? Weird.
I knew you shouldn't have mentioned the one time idea of simulcasting KEGL with KKTL back then, CW. You've got Bruce all in a frenzy now, lol. I'm with ya, Bruce. While I love me some classic country, I'd have much rather seen The Dallas Eagle simulcast down here, than to have ever been subjected to that God awful "Hot" format that was on 97-1.
Of course, that would've been when CC still owned it, so we'd have lost the northern simulcast of "The Buzz", if that had occurred. How many would have been screaming bloody murder had Clear Channel pulled that trigger?
