WBEN was on WTSS HD2 but is now on WKSE HD3. Not sure why the change.

Ho-hum. 17 people with HD radios - which includes the engineers in town - will have to adjust. Are they perhaps playing translator games? I'd have to care enough to track it down, which I don't.
Just curious:
How long was it before radio guys stopped talking about "AM stereo" like it was anything more than a novelty for engineers to geek-out over?
I think there are more HD radios out there then what some might think! I have several at home and one in each car. Yes, I am a "Radio Geek" that is why I joined this board!
Anyway I like the fact that I can listen to WBEN or WGR without the noise of and poor sound of AM. I like the fact that stations can multicast. I just wish there was more HD2 & HD3 stations. My only complaint about putting WBEN on HD3 of 98.5 is too much intermod in downtown. The analog and HD goes away. Yes, then I am forced back to AM. I didn't have that issue on 102.5 HD2.
As a side note: 107.7 HD2 "The Lake" has been quiet for weeks, finally dead I assume.
Is there any HD channel that would filter out all the right wing nutjob garbage on WBEN? I'd even put up with AM reception to listen to that channel.
No, but you can shut it off when Limbaugh, Hannity, or Savage (if he qualifies?) come on.
