98.9 might not be the ideal radio station at the moment, but we should reflect on what Hubbard media is doing correctly.
Warm 106.9 and Movin' are both brilliant. Both stations have excellent imaging. The music selection on warm is also fantastic, and for all the complaints about tight playlists around here I think warm should be hailed for their variety. Last but not least, hosts like Shellie Hart and AJ make the station fun to listen to.
Hmm and if that's the studio, then where's KBKS? I thought they were along that row too.
As you walk into the 'Newer" location of Cheap Channel/iBarf Radio, after passing the sales floor and programming/traffic offices.. the rows of studios are:
HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!! It's funny because they used to be named "Clear Channel" and now their name is "iHeartMedia". Damn, that's clever!
VERY clever! I think another intrepid poster coined the name "iHeartless Media"...
What's really funny is that somehow this thread veered from what's loaded in the Factoria AudioVAULT computers to studios owned by a completely different company.
KKBW actually has 2 studios - One in Seattle next to the KUBE Studio and the other in Tacoma (Former Funky Monkey studio).
Do you recall where the Tacoma studio is/was located?
The Tacoma studio was in an office building next to the Tacoma Mall if I recall correctly.
Are you sure? I thought it was downtown ... top floor of a classic office building very close to the old Winthrop (appox. 9th & Broadway).

And...once again, trying to steer this thread back OT...looks like Click made some inroads in April, especially 18-49 - not too much improvement, but improvement nonetheless. Will be interesting to see how the recent changes score next month.
It's going to take a lot more time to measure success or failure than just two months. Then again Kaye has shown he's undisciplined enough to toss a morning show in less than a year.
