I saw the movie "The Lorax". She was cute, but she didn't sing.
I like some of her music, But there overplaying her
I heard "Blank Space" like 12 times today -- Love the song, But still
I don't understand the notion of people overplaying her or anyone. Why wouldn't stations want to give people more variety? Just because they are scared of other sources to get their music (online, for example) does not make sense why those who actually want to listen to music should have to be subjected to such narrow playlists, which insult one's intelligence. There is still a need for radio in people's cars, so choosing to beat people over the head with the "stereotypical" popular songs is not right, IMO.
With that 3 month free deal by Apple, Ms. Swift threw a hissy-fit about it
Yeah, She didn't get paided for it, She makes enought on her CD's, Tours ect
I agree with the artist here. Apple has a larger amount of unencumbered cash than any company in the world.
Quite impressive record announced by Mediabase today:
“TAYLOR SWIFT’s “Bad Blood” sets the single week spin record at Top 40/Mainstream this week with 19,518 spins.”

I would say this is probably not the Neil Sedaka song I like, but once she got hold of it, it wouldn't be nearly that good anyway.I am quite astounded that this song has made it to the upper rungs of the AC chart! I assume this is the non-rap version but it still seems very un-AC like, even in this day and age.

I don't like the Rap Version of Bad Blood, Why did theeey add rap for?
headings towards 5 wks #1 on top 40 airplay.

Adding some rap (even if the rap is completely unrelated to the subject of the pop song) always gives the pop artist 'street cred'.
