KISQ Flips To Soft AC

Is Renel washed up now? Only doing the Giants Field Announcing??

Only if you mean "washed up" in the sense of being financially secure with much more down time to relax. I'm sure another station would be happy to hire Renel if/when she wants the gig. From what I've been told, she had been voice-tracking her content for Kiss-FM in any case, with her sidekick live in the studio.

How likely are we to see The Breeze carrying Delilah's Soft AC flavor since KBAY dropped the show several years ago? Seems like something that would possibly fit and give the Delilah show a Bay Area outlet once again.

I left my phone on the charger at work last night, so I couldn't listen to music in my car via blue tooth during the commute home. Tuned in KQED to get some news, but they were doing a pledge break. I thought, what the hell - I'll check out the new "ninety-eight-point-one-The-Breeze. So I tune it in and they're playing...Hotel F'ing California. . Flipped to Big 103.7, but they were in the middle of a long commercial stop set. Flipped around the dial to other stations - Stop Set, Stop Set, Stop Set, etc.

Not a good radio experience.

Comment on Delilah...<wretch>

That's the same way here while I'm out I have my walkman to listen to Radio here in West Sacramento

I listen to my MP3 Music for a whle, then the Radio, I do band scan sweep of the FM Band, long commercial sets on every station, only 1 is playing Music

Flips to AM, Listen to 1600 KUBA long set of Music for like 9 mins, Then a long commercial comes on, Goes back to listening to my Music

Has KISQ turned off their HD transmitter? It's making listening in the south bay really scratchy.

Does HD help that much with listening in the south bay? Born and raised in San Jose and I remember the challenge receiving some of the San Francisco stations consistently.

The station is up to a 3.6 from a 2.2 in the last ratings book, so the station is a success so far.

Those are 6+ numbers.

However, in 25-54 they have increased from around 18th to about 12th.
