Has anyone notice the changes for K104.7? I listened to the station online and I noticed that they play more older music and less currents than other mainstream AC stations I have ever listened to. While checking the playlist, I see that they play much more 70's and 80's music than ever before. The other night, I even saw they included Walking In Rhythm by the Blackbyrds, which is very rare for today's mainstream AC standards. Also included in the playlist was Motown and classic disco. These changes are a far cry from years ago when they were moving closer to hot AC.
If this trend keeps up, would this eventually evolve into a full-blown classic hits station?
