New 24/7 news diginet to launch

Is MTVU actually being replaced with Cheddar nationally or just in colleges? If not will Viacom still own MTVU thats available on cable throughout the country? Will the rename it? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.multichannel.com/.amp/news/cheddar-buys-mtv-networks-on-campus-to-launch-cheddaru

No no changes to MTV-U at all. Its just that feed being replaced at universities by CheddarU. I wouldn't know what that looks like because the University of Florida never carried MTV-U and won't carry CheddarU.

DISCLAIMER: I'm a U.F. student studying Telecom. U.F. uses Cox Cable for in-dorm cable services.

Will MTVU still show college related stuff? Why would it still show college related programs when it won't be available in colleges anymore?
