Is Megyn out at Today?

Yes, it does seem that her 9AM show would end and she'd have some other role at the network. The only real place for her, now to cover hard news on a recurring basis, would be as a weekend anchor or on CNBC or MSNBC. I have no idea how long she is really under contract for, but she's not providing anywhere near $20M per year of value for NBC. Clearly, the vision that led to her getting this contract has not been realized. I suspect there may be some attempt to see if she can recapture her fire on one of the cable networks. If that doesn't succeed, then I think an attempt at a buyout ensues.

Kathie Lee & Hoda should move up to 9AM and NBC should give 10AM back to the affiliates. But I'm sure 9am will be occupied by someone else, of course.

If they could only buy out her contract.

After the election period ends...but until then, temporarily beached?

Keep in mind NBC Universal is a very big place. Lots of spots to use celebrity talent. Jay Leno is still on CNBC every day. Brian Williams hosts a show on MSNBC every night at 11PM. After that, they have reruns. So the midnight spot is open. I'm kidding about that, and it's more likely that they'd put her in middays at MSNBC.

Watching "The Talk" right now, they say Megyn Kelly's show will be cancelled??

The "Dirt Report" a celebrity gossip segment on HOT 93.7 mentioned that Ms. Kelly's show was canceled. They also reported the same thing about her being shunned by her NBC colleagues.

If I was running NBC.

9AM-10AM Kathie Lee and Hoda.
10AM-12NOON Local Programing
12Noon-1PM Days of Our Lives
1PM-2PM The Chew picked up from ABC

The hosts of The Chew did a reunion show on Facebook Live and Instagram Live on Monday at 1PM Eastern and on the Facebook Live there were over 8500 viewers. (Except of course for the minor detail that Chef Carla Hall is does cooking segments on GMA Day the ABC replacement for The Chew).

Is NBC CT the only one doing the half hour entertainment type show at 11:30. I could see Kathy Lee and Hoda moving to 9:00 the locals taking news to 10:00 again and 11:00 being moved back to syndication. Unless NBC wants to keep the "10 hours of Today" format going.

After Today show Kathie Lee and Hoda then Kelly Clarkson Show, local Newscast,Days of Our Lives,Pickler and Ben then Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune and then local Newscast.

I have zero doubt NBC will maintain the four hours of Today. They have more than enough folks in the organization to reconfigure the hour, whether that means moving the existing 10 am hour to 9 and reworking the 10 am slot, or simply inserting something new (or perhaps "old" in the sense of what it basically was before this little experiment) at 9.

Sure the affiliates would gobble up the hour, but NBC needn't be so generous just yet.
