Head over heels-Tears for fears
Beautiful music until 1982 then a short-lived MOR, still using "Wish" from 82 - 83.
If you are wondering about the direction the Breeze is going its most likely going have a playlist like KISQ San Francisco.

For the record, here's an aircheck of the launch of Sunny 104.5 back in August 2002:

Two notable things: Sunny 104.5 had much better imaging and jingles, as does the Sunny Radio format on iHeartRadio online today. The guy with the weird accent that The Breeze has reading their liners just doesn't cut it. And at least as of yesterday, on HD Radio receivers their station ID was still showing as "REAL-FM".
Also, Sunny 104.5 was focused specifically on the '60s and '70s (at least initially), and Sunny Radio today is largely '70s and '80s, while The Breeze is all over the map from the 1960s to the 2010s. I don't mind that kind of variety, but it needs better playlist scheduling. It just doesn't sound right to hear the Righteous Brothers followed by Adele.
The Breeze now has DJs (although they may be voicetracked) and their HD Radio ID is showing as WISX-FM.
They still need to work on the playlist. I heard them go from Ben E. King's "Stand By Me" to John Legend's "All Of Me" -- that's a 52 year jump, although "Stand By Me" did become a Top 10 hit again in 1986 when it was featured in the movie of the same name. (I've also heard them play "Unchained Melody", another '60s tune which became a hit again after being featured in "Ghost" in 1990.)
And some of their modern song choices are anything but "relaxing", such as Alicia Keys' "Girl On Fire" and even Katy Perry's "Hot N Cold" (I didn't hear it, but it was listed on their web site as "recently played".)
Browsing many of the Breeze playlists, are they planning the 1997 version of Candle in the Wind or the live 1987 version?

Why would ANY station play the one-off Princess Diana version now, other than maybe to mark the anniversary of her death?
