WBOS FM has a nice gain also for whatever reason. Not clear what they are doing good.

WBUR FM and WEEI FM with big drops.
WBUR FM and WEEI FM with big drops.
And..."WFNX-FM Alternative"...huh? It says N/A.Isn't that the 99.9 in Athol that wound up with the calls of Boston Phoenix radio? Adult hits (we play almost everything) not alternative unless the computer assigned the description of the old 101.7...

Despite WBUR's drop, it remains well ahead of WGBH. Scott Fybush's report of recent changes
VB continues to be an albatross on RKOs ratings, I see.
Numbers for Rush and VB are probably pretty low but they sell advertising. Premiere/iHeart has Rush on about 500-600 affiliates, even small and/or low rated ones, but national advertisers want to be heard all over. They spend enough to keep Rush with those stations.
From 2008-16, Premiere paid Rush about $50 million per year.It went down greatly with next contract (though we don't know exact number) but still must do well--or marginal, even in "blue" areas like MA.Well, the sponsors are happy being nationwide.
