Anything new to report on the "new" 1510 and its translator? Now that Big 105.3's oldies format has gone online-only, there would seem to be an audience (albeit out of the Sacred Sales Demo) waiting.

Somehow I have a vision of Ed Perry on a Donkey, dressed as Don Quixote , tilting his sword at a radio tower.
Another post on Remembering WMEX facebook says that Ed plans to have them back on in (...see you...in)
September.

"Update on WMEX 1510
And WBMS 1460
Sometime late October"
LOL... and ive got a bridge to sell you in brooklyn. the day keeps getting pushed back.. every time, whoever delivers that message makes it sound so definite .. and yet, more delays. Theres no way getting these stations on the air in some semi permanent fashion, even if from long term temporary facilities should take this long. Theres no way these stations will ever turn much of a profit..
The extension of the STA to remain silent expires on 11/11/19:

im not questioning the legalties.. im just saying.. these stations will never amount to much, if they even ever get back on
No question of that. The point here is there is little chance of getting another extension beyond 11/11 - so if Ed doesn't get it on the air by then - it's all over.
all he has to do is turn it back on for a few days before that and find some plausible excuse to turn them back off.
Hasn't he done that already?
