On May 12, 2015, because of the Amtrak accident, all Philly TV Stations aired extended coverage of this, which resulted in several preemptions.
WPVI: Jimmy Kimmel Live was preempted obviously. They did air Nightline after they finish there coverage though. Also, it looks like they didn't air the Action News overnight replay, most likely because of this.
WCAU: Of course, The NBC Late Night Shows were preempted. Well, for Jimmy Fallon and Seth Myers. Not even sure Last Call or the overnight Today rerun got preempted or not, but my guess is was most likely joined in progress.
WTXF: Same Thing.
KYW: Late Show with David Letterman and Late Late Show With James Cordon got Pushed back, most likely because of extended coverage. For example Late Late Show aired at like 2:30 AM instead of 12:37 AM.
Finally, the next day, KYW and WPVI started there Morning Newscasts 30 minutes early, which obviously preempted American this morning and CBS Morning News.
