Despite David's Discouraging Demographic Dismissal, WRME-LP is responding to a definite format need
There's no question that it fills a need, but the issue remains how to pay for it. Fortunately the station is owned by a company that uses the radio station to promote its TV station. Similar to the way Disney used its radio stations to promote its parks and movies. The money has to come from someplace, and most advertisers aren't supportive to this format. Radio would be very different if the only issue was filling format needs.
Is WWDV Zion part of WWDV’s total, like WCFS with WBBM?
.A lot of people are moving to Wisconsin. Maybe that’s it, on weekends they’re out there listening on 96.9. Kenosha is booming. Even Racine from Foxconn.
Looks like WLS is still in the lower rankings.
They're up a half point from last year.
But is that an improvement, if at all?
Compared to WGN? They'd love to find a half point.
