Wow...can anyone tell me (or guess) what is going on with WTMX?
Is their day in the sun over?
Hard to say, we will have to wait to see the official report
Or someone in the market can give us their impressions from a listeners perspective.

But WLS-FM had a nice jump of nearly similar magnitude
I have no idea. Nor do I even remotely care. But WLS-FM had a nice jump of nearly similar magnitude
WRME 87.75 is at #11, "Smack Dab In The Middle" of Chicago Full Power FMs in overall ratings. And it has three times the overall ratings of the station which was formerly WSDM, which is physically smack dab in the middle of the FM BC Band. In the old days of slide rule dials, if you tuned to 87.75, you were likely to get the dial pin stuck and have to take it apart to fix it. Regardless of demographics, there is something seriously amiss
Yesterday, on WLS AM, Mancow announced that he is now #5 in the mornings.
Where is that in the ratings that Feder posted?

SO why did you respond?
BECAUSE the question was asked....
....."can anyone tell me (or guess) what is going on with WTMX?"
So I thought I'd take a stab at answering. As well as indicate that the answer is of no concern to me. (i.e. "no skin in the game",)
The biggest downward mover was WTMX. The closest thing to a corresponding upward move was for WLS. Correlattion? Damned if I know, but WLS' gain COULD have been part of what happened to WTMX.
Even Rob Feder didn't answer the question to the best of my knowledge.
