What a show today! Included so many elements that made radio great in the 20th Century, which have dwindled over the last couple decades. From bits to comraderie to free flowing topics to escapades to surprises to some of the show's marquee cast, JIMMY KIMMEL and ADAM CAROLLA in-studio, to soap opera narratives that listeners are hooked into hearing the next chapter (Poorman adding a chapter to a 25-year narrative, Ralph back and sharing the backstory to his Jerry Lewis call prank), it was a terrific broadcast, worth hearing on the K&B podcast if you missed it live on 106.7.
I know Gene "Bean" is on this board sometimes. Callers did mention on air today a hope for a future podcast. I echo that hope. Question - was hosting the show from the UK ever considered? 5:30a here is 1:30p in the UK, which is so convenient. And think of all the guests you could have had with ease by the show having a UK outpost for local Brit musicians to come into the studio there. Los Angeles is the ultimate for global musicians. An LA morning show partially based in London would be highly valued.
