Fox shelved LMS in the Fall of 2019 to make way for another show. It was scheduled to restart last week, which it did, with two one-part episodes (that is the two shows were not connected in any way).
Now I notice that tonight's LMS is, once again, two independent shows and not a traditional two-part story.
Is Fox intentionally burning through LMS and plans to dump it at season's end?
I realize, along with virtually every other viewer, that LMS has had many significant cast changes which have resulted in a much poorer show than when it initially aired on ABC. The season of 'cancellation' and move from ABC to Fox are generally seen as a disaster for this once-leading sitcom.
