They preempted that for this?

A Southington, Connecticut supermarket has a TV in their Food Court. It was tuned to WVIT. It was so strange seeing the promos for Kelly Clarkson and for Ellen with on screen and voice overs saying "Today at 2PM on COZI TV" for Kelly and "Today at 3PM on COZI TV" for Ellen. They also showed what channel number COZI TV is on the various Cable operators that serve Connecticut.

A few nights ago the local station pre emted ET with Jay Leno's Norton 360 infomercial......

Around the holidays we got hit on most stations with the upper lip problem"Cant think of the name" infomercial..

I would not mind at late night but not in the prime access or prime time with these. It was nice to see Jay on TV since I did enjoyed him on the tonight show.

Impeachment coverage began at 11:00 AM Eastern today, and the Big Three all signed off between 3:10 and 3:15 PM. Ellen was still simulcast on both WNBC 4.1 and 4.2 COZI TV. For ABC stations that JIP'd General Hospital, a caption appeared on screen: "Today's episode of GENERAL HOSPITAL will be available in its entirety on abc.com after 8 ET|5 PT today." KGMB Hawaii replaced Price is Right, which airs at 3P Eastern/10A Hawaii, with CBS This Morning.

The final vote is scheduled for Wednesday at 4:00 PM Eastern.

The Iowa Caucus is tonight, so two stations in Des Moines are pre-empting evening programming for coverage.

WHO/NBC is moving all evening programming to 13.3 Antenna TV - NBC Nightly News, Wheel of Fortune, AGT, Manifest, Fallon, and Myers, plus Singh and the encore of Hoda & Jenna will be simulcast on both the main channel and subchannels, with the regular Antenna TV lineup returning to normal at 2:00 AM Central. Archie Bunker remains at 6:00 since the 6:00 newscast is not being simulcast, but the 10:00 one will be, so Antenna's entire lineup from 6:30-2:00 is gone tonight.

KCCI/CBS is pre-empting all programming from 6:30-10:00: Inside Edition, The Neighborhood, Bob Hearts Abishola, All Rise, and Bull. IE is gone entirely, and there is no overnight or next-day encore here. Neighborhood, Bob, and All Rise are moved to Tuesday night/Wednesday morning at 2:07, 2:38, and 3:07 AM, replacing all of CBS Overnight News and JIP-ing CBS Morning News. Bull will air Wednesday night/Thursday morning at 2:07 AM, replacing part of CBS Overnight News.

WOI/ABC is not airing any special coverage of the Caucus according to listings.

Since indie KTVK in Phoenix is sister to CBS affiliate KPHO, they're simulating the CBS broadcast of State of the Union, although it is not listed. Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! (which air on this station at 7:00 and 7:30 Mountain instead of the common 6:00/6:30) are bumped to 2:00 and 2:30 AM, replacing an encore of local program Your Life Arizona.

Pacific Time Zone affiliates are mostly moving prime access shows to the 9 or 10 PM hours.

The President's acquittal speech and related coverage lasted today from 12:00 to at least 1:30 PM Eastern. Y&R was pre-empted in full on the East Coast, and B&B was JIP'd shortly into the show. Price is Right was fully pre-empted in most of the Mountain Time Zone, and was JIP'd halfway through in the Pacific Time Zone. Of the Big Three, CBS signed off first, followed by ABC (Strahan, Sara & Keke was JIP'd on the East Coast), then NBC was done by 1:40. WNBC did not move Access Daily at 1:00 to COZI TV, although I don't believe they ever have.

Due to severe thunderstorms in North Carolina, at least two stations have been pre-empting daytime programming for coverage.

WCNC/NBC in Charlotte pre-empted the remainder of Days of Our Lives and two episodes of Daily Blast Live, but signed off at 3:00 in time for Judge Judy x 2.

WTVD/ABC in Raleigh aired coverage through 4:00, pre-empting the remainder of SS&K, Rachael Ray, and General Hospital. No announcement on whether they were moved to 11.2 Live Well Network or not.

Access Daily came on JIP on WVIT somewhere after 1:40. I'm not sure exactly what time because I was at ShopRite eating my lunch in their food court. The TV was on WVIT.

KQTV did it again today, skipping WOF two days in a row, with no "option" to make up the episodes because of its prime access time slot restriction.

Looks like KQTV/ABC in St. Joseph, MO finally found a clause or got special permission to air Wheel of Fortune outside of prime access. They're airing a special at 6:30 Central tonight on the Chiefs' Super Bowl victory. Rather than skip WOF altogether, as they did for its Chiefs specials last week, WOF was instead moved early to 4:00 PM Central, replacing the rerun of Jeopardy! and immediately preceding its new episode.

People are complaining on IG that some ABC stations are pre-empting the live edition of "The Conners" tonight to do election coverage. Ironically the election is what the live edition of "The Conners" is about

Unsurprisingly, those ABC stations are local to the NH area. The Conners special is also supposed to intersperse live ABC News coverage on the family's TV.

Boston's ABC affiliate WCVB is only airing one hour of coverage from 8-9. The Conners Live and Bless This Mess are both moved to 5.2 MeTV in place of Andy Griffith. Also in Boston, MyTV affiliate WSBK (sister to CBS O&O WBZ) is airing coverage from 8-11, pre-empting two episodes of Chicago PD and repeats of WBZ's 5-6 PM newscasts. The CPD's are bumped to 12 and 1 AM, replacing Seinfeld, How I Met Your Mother, and two episodes of Mike & Molly.

WMUR out of Manchester, the only Big Four affiliate actually based in New Hampshire, is airing coverage from 7:30-11:00. 25 Words or Less at 7:30 is pre-empted entirely, Conners and BTM move to 9.2 MeTV, but mixed-ish and black-ish from 9-10 PM, both new episodes tonight, are not on either channel's schedule at all. The series premiere of For Life at 10:00 is bumped to 1:37 AM, replacing an encore of the same day's Tamron Hall.

As for the other two markets who can be reached in NH - Portland, ME and Burlington, VT, none of their affiliates are airing coverage.
