how many men who played the iconic clown are still alive.
Joey D'Auria (WGN-TV Chicago) is 67. Willard Scott (WRC-TV Washington DC) is 85. There are probably others still around, but most were unknown outside their home markets and I can't find listings for any of them, outside of linkless ones in Wikipedia.
IIRC, Frank Avarusch (then-WHDH-TV Channel 5, Boston) is still alive

I believe Joey D'Auria took over from Bob Bell who played Bozo originally on WGN-TV.
Yes. D'Auria was Bozo #2 in Chicago, beginning in 1984. Bell died in 1997.
Avruch. And no, he died in 2018.
I friggin hate clowns!
It didn't help that some of the station Bozo's were creepy old guys who sounded like they hit the local bar hard before putting on their makeup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-h1d1Uft7Q

You're thinking of the clown in Uncle Buck. In the field of live in-home entertainment, he was a god!
Any televangelists are evil and horrible. They should be banned from the general public.
