Of course the difference is that Entercom doesn't own a traffic & weather service, and iHeart does.
Really?
On 'BZ, the on-air anchor at :04, :14, :34, :44 quotes from some written AccuWeather forecast.
On, 'RKO, weather is provided by The Weather Channel.
So, where is iHeart's "weather" service?
I have no problem with, and actually like, their traffic reports; its traffic service is a very fine one.
I don't hear much of their "news" broadcasts any more, on either 'RKO or Talk 1200; they gave that job to 'BZ.
So, does iHeart REALLY own a news/traffic/weather service, or is it now pretty much just traffic?
