What's with the legal ID.... 102.5. I thought KOAD-LP was at 92.5. More musical chairs?

KYAF is whats feeding the fresno translator, i thought?

I notice that Radio-Locator Removed 102.3 K272GD from their list, I guess they will be gone soon.

Well, I would have to see another source with more info- we know Radio-Locator has lots of mistakes.
KKDJ program note: Didn't I hear White saying just the other day that all the program hosts were local? This afternoon I'm hearing someone blabbing about being "big fat" someone or other. Didn't sound local to me. "The Big Fat American Rock Show" Could be another Chris White entity. (?)

I actually like Zac Martin, sounds good and plays good music for the most part. The other personalities suck. JLW,Dean Opperman,so when does Nick Ryan get out of prison?

Nicky Baby Ryan would fit right in. I would guess CEW will try to get him 'on air' as soon as he gets out. Offering a 'deal' with bennies that Nicky just couldn't pass up.

Can anyone confirm what it being played on 92.5 in Hanford? Online they are playing "KFUN" and on the radio in Fresno they claim to be "KKDJ" on 102.3 in Fresno and 92.5 in the "South Valley". Why different music and presentation online if they are the same live on the radio?

LOL Verne, because 102.3 is supposed to be a translator, not a LPFM, with KYAF terminated, they are pretending that 102.3 is a translator for KOAD Hanford and is way to far out of range to be a flagship station, just a matter of time for the FCC shuts them down.

I remember all the job openings posted on AllAccess for KKDJ 102.3 they were A.) Desperate B.) Way over inflated as to what you could earn

This station, KKDJ 94.7(KYAF)/102.3 has been nothing but an amatuer joke run by people reliving a past that never was for them and listened to by a few guys who cant let go of the past.

If KKDj and its format was so gosh darn popular and would make money, someone else would be doing it.

No, I'm quite sure that 102.3 is OK to translate (re-broadcast) KOAD because Verne/KOAD does not own the 102.3 translator. Cacola does. Cacola is not prohibited from translating KOAD. I'm not sure - hopefully someone else can say if 102.3 is required to pick KOAD up off the air or not. But I think we discussed this before. It is so very highly doubtful that KOAD could be picked up over air at 102.3s location.

A commercial band translator MUST pick up its source over the air

A non commercial band translator can pick up its source in any method.. IP/internet, microwave/STL, satelitte.. IF its originating source is a non commercial FREQUENCY. KOAD and KYAF are non comms but are on commercial frequencies, so it must be an off air pick up.

Doesnt mean stations dont fudge it and bend the rules.. they hope no one notices!

The only rules that are different are fm translators in the commercial band for AM stations.. that can be fed in the same method the AM is.

AM picking up, feeding an FM would sound horrible anyways
