Could Something “BIG” Be Coming to 94.1?

Y'all, the more and more I think about the what ifs, the more I think my theory will come in fruition. So here me out on this one: they will go AC with Star 94 as the name. I'd be shocked if they get rid of the name that has been a staple name in the market for such a long period of time.

I believe this is what they should do. Not saying they will do it, but I think they should. There is room for something slightly lighter or older than B98.5. Not talking Soft AC, just a little lighter than B. I would also stick with the Star name.

Whatever they decide, they WILL have 100% Christmas music from Thanksgiving through December 26. FACT.

In the meantime, Entercom announced some BIG programming changes for their Country and Alternative stations around the country:

So if any changes are coming to Star, they're very likely to look like this.

I'd be surprised if they took this approach. I don't know if Entercom sees this doing well in the market like Atlanta. It sounds to me that these changes only apply to markets that have an existing Alternative & Country stations but what do I know?!?

My bet is these same types of changes will be used in other formats in the coming weeks.
