The Castro brothers must've hated the Chicago Cubs. First a blowtorch pest on 720. Then the Cubs move to 670, where they also find a Cuban pest....while the original culprit on 720 evolves into a 2.5kw pumpkin.
Apparently the place to be overnight last night (11/30-12/1) was 960. First, as posted previously, CFAC turned up on the Hawaii SDR. Then about an hour before local sunrise. on the Sony SRF-37 Walkman, a first time catch for me KLTF 960 from Little Falls, MN. Perhaps LITTLE Falls, but I"ll go out on a limb and guess tht they were using their BIG (sort of) transmitter. The 5kw non-directional one and not the 38-watt little one. Signal was fair, but comfortably on top, I did get a positive ID.
Little Falls is about 100 miles northwest of the Twin Cities. I've been through it a number of times on Minnesota biz trips. Even spent a few nights there. I believe it's famous for being the hometown of aviator Charles Lindbergh.
About 20 minutes later....Some "frosting on the cake" farther down the dial at 830. With WCCO nulled, I also heard and got a positive ID from WUMY from Memphis. 3kw non-directional with Spanish talk and gospel music.

First of all nice catch on CFAC. Those critical hours can bring in some nice DX, WUMY.
KTLF is a nice catch. I'd gotten that at dawn earlier this year.

Probably. WCCO was blasting, but I heard something underneath, so I rotated the radio and waited for the top of the hour ID. I knew there was an 830 in Memphis (the successor to KBOA, which operated for many years in the Missouri "boot heel"). But the radio was oriented northeast-southwest to null WCCO. So I waited for the English language ID. Fortunately, a two-minute fade had just ended when it came. I still didn't recognize the call letters so I had to look them up. For some reason, the COL wasn't mentioned. Perhaps the legal ID was actually before the fade ended.
A new log on 11/29, did not put this in until now and I apologize.
580 - CHAH AB, Edmonton; with Punjabi music on top of KIDO at 2011 PT 11/29. CKUA used to be on 580 there, but CHAH is a completely new operation. NEW #796, 10KW at 537 miles.

Indeed, back in the day when they were WIP I heard them several times in the Chicago area.

Last night between 9:30 and 10:30 CST (0330-0430UTC) while the Norway SDR was pretty much bereft of any TA signals, the Westfjord Iceland rig was lighting up with stations from the New England area. WLAM wasn't there, but WBZ and WEEI (850)from Boston were in. But the strongest signal was WRCA on 1330. 17kw from Suburban Boston. WHJJ (920) from Providence, RI was also in. Farther away, WLAC was in with a fair but steady signal and positive ID on 1510. First time I've heard a trans-Atlantic signal from them.
Couple new ones heard tonight. WVWZ Ashland City, TN on 790 kHz with country music at 8:19 pm CST, and KFOW - Waseca, MN with HS football on 1170 kHz at 8:56 pm CST. Also noted very strong WMBD Nashville, TN on 880 with ranchera music.
Also heard strong WJNL Kingsley, MI on 1210 kHz at 9:11 pm CST with continuous loop: "This is the Spartans Sport Network, there is no live programming at the current time". Same loop is broadcast on WJML Petoskey, MI (1110 kHz)

Was just on the Iceland receiver and heard most of the stations you mentioned plus a very good signal from WEGP Presque Isle, Maine on 1390.

At 12:56 a.m. CT, both WJNL and WJML were still there, and still are as I type this. Weirdest DX test I've ever heard!

Not finding WJNL here. But I did hear the unmistakenable sound of George Noory and the phone numbers (west of the Rockies call... east of the Rockies, call...) as Coast to Coast AM came back on an unknown 1210. Is this WPHT? I can't log it without an ID but this would be amazing to hear if I confirmed it. CFYM SK mostly on top.
And the hat-trick of tips o' the hat to CADXER for "KFOW - Waseca, MN" which was still running a likely 2.5 kw day power at 2:06 a.m., when I snagged an ID including the 106.3 FM tag following Fox News and then matched the show to the station's Internet stream. Four new stations in one night thanks to CADXER and this website!
The Coast to Coast affiliate list appears to have only one station at 1210: WPHT. It's certainly a strong tentative for you, I think.
It also sounds like KFLD 870 Pasco is on day power. Stronger than usual with Newstalk870.am mention before the midnight TOH. Paul B. Walker Jr. in McGrath, AK heard them!
CBKF-2 860 SK w/ CBC French programming over and under KTRB/KPAM as well. Had TOH from 1490 KSKR Roseburg and later had 1230 KORT Grangeville ID with Journey song // stream.
