MWList is a great resource for worldwide MW listings. Greatest Hits Radio could be from Swansea, Stockton-on-Tees or Stoke-on-Trent. Smooth Radio is in Ipswich and Portsmouth. All transmitters are 580 watts or less.

I just found I have MWlist Bookmarked

Right now at 9:47pm 1170 is a mess right now, Sounds like a German Guy talking, But it's fading in the mess

I think I'm hearing Greatest Hits Radio from South Wales ,Cardiff to be on point

Interesting on the Kong SDR (Arctic SDR w/N-S longwire). On 1377, I'm hearing CNR1 from China (just past their sunrise at 0015 UTC) underneath Radio Free Africa in Tanzania (phone-ins over music bed //webstream) and a third, probably Iran.

I've found the Arctic SDRs to be sub-par this year, but the Iceland ones have generally been OK. Maybe the Arctic ones have had antenna issues? At any rate, I checked the Arctic one last night around midnight CST and found the conditions excellent. Lots of the "10" frequencies had good signals on them. KOMO-1000 and CFRN-1260 were among those noted during my quick tune-around.
I also heard KOMO, KBRW, and KNOM on the Arctic receiver about the same time. However, as has been the case most of this season there wasn't much else there from North America.

I'm on 675 KHz on the Bedford U.K SDR

There playing Music, MWlist don't help with the Live Audio

Don't know if it's near London
I'm on this SDR now. He has 675 tagged as "Hi-fi AM test". I'm guessing this is audio generated by the SDR owner for testing his equipment. 675 on the Arctic SDR is Qatar with music in Arabic, matching their stream.

Tuning around on the Bedford SDR, I'm hearing mostly Spain and UK stations, pretty similar to what I've heard on a portable radio while in the UK.

Radio Reloj, Cuba all alone booming on 870 kHz right now. No sign of WWL.

Took a spin on the Key West SDR and it was one of those nights where the midwest and east coast were good.
Chicago: WGN good, WBBM very good, WMVP fair. From NYC: WINS fair/good, WABC weak in a crowd, WCBS good, Other east coasters: WBZ strong, WFED good. Others: KMOX and WLW very good.
On Haida Gwaii: WGN good, No WBBM just KKOH and KNOM fighting it out. Same thing on Oahu,Hawaii: KKOH & KNOM battling. Too much noise on 720 to hear anything. All this was between 11:30 and midnight CST.

More clear-channel fun: WSCR and WBBM are barely distinguishable under their western counterparts on the Prince George, B.C. SDR at 12:40 a.m. CT Thursday 1/21. WGN is covered by hash from 730, and WLS is also absent.

I had some time this afternoon to take a spin around the AM dial in Manistee, MI.
Here are some notable catches (between 2:15 and 3pm EST, so before critical hours):
740 - CFZM with oldies music
850 - WKNR with Cleveland Browns mentions under WGVS
860 - CJBC with French talk mixing with WNOV
880 - WRFD with religious talk
900 - CHML strong with Global News Radio
1010 - CFRB with Canadian news and talk
1020 - KDKA with Pittsburgh-area traffic and weather report
1060 - WILB with ID "Living Bread Radio Network"
1110 - WGNZ with ID "Good News Radio"
1120 - KMOX with newscasts
1180 - WHAM with ID and local ads
1320 - WJAS with IDs
1380 - CKPC with religious talk and Canada mentions
1540 - CHIN with Chinese talk
1610 - CHHA with international talk/music

This morning at 6:50am CST on my way to a client meeting, I received WDIA in Memphis on 1070 kHz. I presume they were already on their 50 kW 4 tower day pattern. The 5 kW 6 tower night pattern is heavily nulled in my direction. This has been a difficult DX frequency for me in Overland Park, KS. During the day, I receive KFTI in Wichita and at night, on very rare occasion, KNX in Los Angeles. Typically at night, this frequency sounds like a graveyard channel.

Nice catch. I've heard WDIA a few times around sunrise in the Chicago area. I've also heard KFTI. It's been years since I've heard KNX with all the clutter on 1070 now.

During the Winter, at least at higher Latitude, Skywave is present all day long. It's just a matter of how far down the dial it's detectable. I generally don't hear it much below 900 kHz at Solar Noon, generally in December. All kinds of propagation are statistically distributed. You can find some graphs that show this in the 1960 NAB Engineering Handbook, particularly for VHF Sporadic E and even Low VHF F2 Layer. There are some formulas on line and in FCC rules which show MW Skywave for SR+2 hours and SS-2 hours, and these might be computable or extrapolated for hours closer to Solar Noon. The main thing to take away from this is that Skywave my be present on AM BC or parts of it in the Winter at any time. It also approaches ground wave levels, observed as complete fade outs and alternate reinforcement fade ins.
