Any stations still in 4:3 center cut

So it looks like most stations have finally adopted a 16:9 format with graphics, are any stations still running a 4:3 center cut presentation?

Only when they show programs that were 4:3 with pillarboxing on anything I watch. But then depending on the set some shows end up with postage stamping (Black bars on all 4 sides).

I know some YouTube channels have some of their clips done in 4:3 due to the uploaders settings or they still have equipment that's 15 years old that still in working condition such as older camcorders from the mid 2000's and run on SD cards.

At this point the major broadcasters in the USA run on a 16:9 with some hype over being filmed in 4k in some cases.

Note one major broadcaster from the Philippines still do their local newscasts in 4:3 but thats due to some areas not having either internet access or their OTA signals or cable systems are not fully converted to 4k or HD as of this posting. Note the date in the video says filmed and uploaded in 2021 but the newscast looks like it was done in the early to mid 2000's if you didn't look at the date closely.

Some commercials may be...
like the d*mn 'once-in-a-lifetime opportunity' hot tub sale commercials which have made their first appearance since the start of the pandemic. 4:3 and all.

BE ADVISED!!

Or the Sunsetter Awning commercials that have been running 4:3 since some time in the 90's with the dubbed over current price  :

That's interesting also the ad looks very early 2000's too when DVD was the hot item for TV's at the time. Had no idea that a 24 year old ad is still airing at this point.

Some production companies still use DV tapes and cameras for video production in 2021?

Last time I heard of DV tapes used was when the transition from Analog to Digital was a big thing in the late 2000's.

Apparently that is true some production services still use DV tapes for video production. Yes the last time I heard of this was in 2008-2009 when the transition from Tape to SD cards was taking place and the transition from Analog to Digital TV signals was in progress.

I did some checking and apparently the ad was done in 2005, so my mistake on guessing the 90's. Here's an article on it, but I wouldn't go as far as it does in saying it's the "greatest ad ever made. " : How SunSetter awnings created the greatest TV commercial ever made - The Boston Globe

I like this quote from Drew Carey in the article:

I wonder how old the actors from the Sunsetter Retractible Awning commercial are now? 70? 80?

On viewer videos on news, the funny home video shows, and websites like You Tube people will send in videos that are done from their phones in portrait mode. I stay on my wife constantly about when she takes pictures and videos trying to get her to turn the phone horizontally, and I'll admit I've done it at times:

That's even worse in 16:9 than 4:3 where the sidebars are as wide or wider as the actual picture.

Was that even an actual station though 92.1?
