Scripps soon moving Katz TV subchannels to ION stations

Yeah. They sold it to INYO Broadcast Holdings. Also, with these changes, some of the Katz diginets will be carried on the main channel of TV stations like WLWC-TV in Providence, R.I. which will make them more money & guarantee must-carry status.
What digital networks WLWC 28.1 is carrying?

KPXE-TV, Ch. 50 in Kansas City, MO now has the following lineup.
50.2 is Grit (Showing CourtTV info.).
50.3 is CourtTV (Showing Grit info.).
50.4 is Ion Shop (Showing Laff info.).
50.5 is QVC Over the Air.
50.6 is HSN.
I wanted to record the switchover of Qubo to Grit & Ion Plus to CourtTV, but I missed it.
CourtTV is now on 3 TV stations in the Kansas City, MO\KS area:
WDAF-TV, Ch. 4.3 (Owned by Nexstar - In 4:3 "stretch-o-vision".).
KMCI-TV, Ch. 38.4 (Owned by Scripps.)
KPXE-TV, Ch. 50.3 (Owned by INYO Broadcast Holdings.).

WSPX-TV in Syracuse, NY has a similar mismatch of info currently
56.2 is Grit (Showing CourtTV info.)
56.3 is CourtTV (Showing Grit info.)
56.4 is Ion Shop (Showing CourtTV Mystery info.)
56.5 is QVC Over the Air
56.6 is HSN

At least we are getting subchannels that were previously unavailable in the Syracuse market. Nexstar station WSYR-TV carries Antenna TV, Bounce and Laff.

I wonder if eventually they'll remove QVC and HSN so that all 5 Katz subchannels can move to Scripps owned ION stations.

Apparently the changes are starting to take place on WPXX in Memphis, but the PSIPs aren't correct. Grit is on 50.2, but the PSIP shows Court TV Mystery. Court TV is on 50.3 and the PSIP is correct. 50.4 still has infomercials but the PSIP shows Grit. QVC is still on 50.5 and HSN is still on 50.6. I take it that Mystery is coming but not in place yet.

I'm not sure what is happening with the previous stations that have Grit and the Court TV channels. I can't get WMC or WHBQ OTA and those subchannels aren't on Spectrum cable, so I don't know if those channels are still on their previous stations or not.

It's also happening in Lexington, Kentucky as well on WUPX-TV.
67.2 Qubo will be replaced by Court TV (currently airing on WLEX [18.4])
67.3 Ion Plus will be replaced by Grit (currently airing on WTVQ [36.7])
67.4 Ion Shop will be replaced by Laff (currently airing on WTVQ [36.4])

Why is Ion Plus' Facebook page still posting things? It posted 10 minutes ago about Murdoch Mysteries.
Also noticed that the IonPlus and Qubo websites are still showing program lineups for the next two weeks. I suspect these are driven by a scheduling algorithm that hasn't been closed down.

Meanwhile here in Houston, as of this morning O&O KPXB/49 has this lineup:

49.1 Main Ion channel
49.2 Court TV (also still airing on KIAH 39.5)
49.3 Grit (still on KFTH 67.3)
49.4 Shop Ion
49.5 Laff (change made several weeks ago, also still airing on KTRK 13.3)
49.6 QVC

Google Fiber in KC area has all 3 Court TV's in its lineup just missing Quest,DABL,Circle and so on. Also missing Olathe Government Channel,Sprectrum Sports and so on.

WXPX (66) in the Tampa Bay area has the following lineup:
66.1 ION
66.2 Court TV (also on WFLA 8.2, WFTS 28.4, and WSNN 39.4)
66.3 Grit (also on WFTS 28.3 and WSNN 39.2)
66.4 Laff (also on WFTS 28.2 and WSNN 39.3)
66.5 QVC
66.6 HSN

Also in Tampa, Court TV Mystery is on both WFLA 8.3 and WVEA 50.4

KPXE-TV is now showing Court TV on Ch. 50.2, Grit on Ch. 50.3 & Laff on Ch. 50.4. Interestingly, there seems to be a 10 second delay between the Laff feed on Ch. 50.4, compared to Ch. 41.3.

More changes in Memphis: Grit is now on 50.4, which makes the PSIP correct. 50.2 should be running Mystery according to the PSIP, but is running infomercials, which had been on 50.3. Apparently Scripps is going to run infomercials no matter what, at least for now.

With these changes I might occasionally watch Grit, but I don't care anything about seeing Court TV or Mystery, and I still think that they should have kept Qubo.

In Knoxville, Tennessee, according to On TV Tonight, WPXK will show Court TV on 54.2 (currently on WKNX 7.3), Laff on 54.3 (currently on WATE 6.3), and Court TV Mystery on 54.4 (currently on WBXX 20.2). QVC and HSN are still on 54.5 and 54.6 respectively.

As of today, these subchannel changes have already happened with the correct PSIP labels for each subchannel. Court TV, Laff, and Court TV Mystery are simulcast on WKNX 7.3, WATE 6.3, and WBXX 20.2 respectively.

Ion Plus, Ion Shop, and Qubo are shutting down tonight, however, I just found out that one of the former Qubo shows, Finding Stuff Out with Zoey will still be continuing on Friday mornings.

KPXE-TV is now showing Court TV on Ch. 50.2, Grit on Ch. 50.3 & Laff on Ch. 50.4. Interestingly, there seems to be a 10 second delay between the Laff feed on Ch. 50.4, compared to Ch. 41.3.
On AVS Forum under local HD Dallas HD says something on it from Jim from Springfield.
On like 41.2,41.3 looks like National feed because just says like Grit,Laff know.

WPXA/Ch. 14 (RF 16, Atlanta; Rome city of license) has as follows:
.2 - Court TV
.3 - Laff TV
.4 - Court TV Mystery
.5 - QVC
.6 - HSN
They have an additional sub which is a retransmission of Telemundo affiliate WKTB-CD/ch. 47.2. The sub maps to 47.1 using RF 16.9 while the regular transmission is on RF 23.

Court TV Mystery is on 3 channels WXSP .3/WXMI .4/WZPX .4. If I was Nexstar try and find some new networks for WOTV, WXSP, Wood TV subchannels. Charter Spectrum does air WOTV .2 & .3, WXSP .2 & .3 & Wood TV .2 & .3. I see that WXMI Fox17 added Get TV to .5 which was on WOTV .2 but put Dabl on .2 on Feb 1. The rest of Katz Networks are double.

I'm kinda surprise that Nexstar hasn't added Anennta TV to at least Wood TV .4 or WOTV .4 since they own Anennta TV from the Tribune merger and as I said many times Anennta TV has been on Fox17 since day one being a Tribune TV station before the merger. Since Katz has double the networks in the West Michigan TV market should have double the Anennta TV LOL.
