They preempted that for this?

When I worked at WLFI, Lafayette IN, they carried the first hour of "Crime Time After Prime Time" (all of the protagonists on these shows were named Nick) and then Joan Rivers (CBS fed a second hour of "Crime Time" in the 12:35 slot). That stopped with Letterman.
This is still off topic but I'm not sure where else to say it.

USA Today used to print the complete list of all shows that had aired on the six broadcast networks in the previous week including Univision and how many total viewers Nielsen said each one had. On Saturdays from 8 to 9 or 8 to 10 there was something on CBS called "Crimetime". Looking at the listings of what really aired, these were reruns of "NCIS" or its spinoffs, "Magnum PI", "MacGyver", "FBI" or one of those other hour-long shows where people solved crimes.

So apparently TNT changed the schedule for tonight. The last time I checked, NBA Basketball was supposed to air tonight, but Shazam! is airing tonight instead. Did the NBA cancelled or delayed tonight's game?

Was it supposed to air an "if necessary" game that became unnecessary when the series ended in less than seven games? AFAIK, there's no COVID scare, natural disaster, player strike or anything else going on that would cause a cancellation. I haven't been following the NBA playoffs since the Celtics were eliminated, so I have no idea how things stand right now.

Yeah, I am confused by this. The TNT schedule was different when I checked yesterday. I think there were supposed to air a new series too, which i don't remember the name of.

my guide shows Shazam being shown both from 7-9:30 and 9:30 midnight (CDT)

TNT has a game on Wednesaday

Looking at some old tv guides some affiliates bumped some of their Saturday morning cartoons for example who tv 13 an NBC affiliate bumped the 8:30am to 9:30 am cartoons and aired them from 6am to 7am for syndicated cartoons widget and captain planet. Some bumped their 11am-noon cartoons or children's programing to early Saturday or Sunday mornings and some networks bumped it completely not airing them at all. Also for weekdays some abc affiliates didn't air the soap opera Loving for syndicated programming and news.

Um, yes. That’s pretty basic and generic info.
Looking at his limited posting history, he may have posted this to the wrong forum. All his other posts have been to "TV Schedules," the forum for ancient listings, which is where his post here belonged. The punctuation is brutal, but there are often extenuating circumstances for that (non-native English speaker, autism, physical disability, etc.) here on RadioDiscussions, as we've seen repeatedly. Or he could simply be someone used to texting to communicate the written word and doesn't understand the difference between texting and posting to a discussion board.

It looks like CBS stations on the Eastern, Central, and Mountain time zones will be preempted their newscasts due to golf, and NCIS: New Orleans will be seen o the west coast

WJZY has aired “TMZ” and “Big Bang Theory” in the afternoon in the past when sports has aired at 7pm. They would air BBT at 2 and “TMZ” at 2:30 (preempting TMZ Live, this was before they moved it to 1pm) but I don’t think they did that this time. I think BBT was preempted. They air another run of TMZ anyway at midnight, tonight it isn’t airing until 2am which won’t be until about 2:30 because the All-Star game ran long.

What they should’ve done was air BBT in place of one of the 25 Words or Less episodes at 10 or 10:30 this morning.

EDIT: They did indeed do that again according to Titan TV. They aired BBT at 1 and TMZ at 1:30.

WSOC is airing Panthers Fan Fest Friday from 7-9pm which bumps “Inside Edition” to 1:06 am, “Entertainment Tonight” to 2:06am and “Shark Tank” to 2:06 am. Surprisingly WAXN doesn’t seem to be airing Inside Edition and ET at 8 and 8:30 in place of two Family Feuds this time. But Feud rates very well.

The Panthers game starts at 1 Eastern
Golf starts at 3

The first hour can be pre-empted. No different than when other sports pre-empt the first but of golf
