Have noticed that K222CX 92.3 (KYOK) and K241CO 96.1 (KSHJ) have been off the air for at least a couple of weeks. No silent STA's have been filed, AFAIK.
I checked 92.3 a couple of weekends ago and it was on the air, but with a dead carrier.Have noticed that K222CX 92.3 (KYOK) and K241CO 96.1 (KSHJ) have been off the air for at least a couple of weeks. No silent STA's have been filed, AFAIK.
Check out 92.3 next time you’re in spring. I don’t know how to explain the sound. Kind of sounds like listening to SSB with a high pitched hum in the background of gospel music. I’d much rather listen to them on 1140 AMHigh pitched noise? Odd.
As for KSHJ's translator they are aware of the problem and their engineer will be down from Dallas to fix it as soon as he can, according to their email. I guess engineers are hard to come by if they have to use one from Dallas.
I'm in Spring near 2920 and I-45. KYOK-FM continues to waste electricity and listener's contribution dollars by broadcasting a carrier with a faint high pitched hum and RDS about the "Legendary 92.3 FM"---but No Programming.Check out 92.3 next time you’re in spring. They affect LPFM stations or other translatorsHow does that affect Full Fms??
People still use those FM Transmitters? I was surprised that we still sale those cassette players that come with an AUX cable. 😂But then we'd not have dead spaces to use our little vehicle/home low power signals![]()
And those other translators don’t affect these other translators? They affect LPFM stations or other translators
Yes, check out 87.7 and 87.9 in Houston traffic on 45. You’ll most likely hear somethingPeople still use those FM Transmitters? I was surprised that we still sale those cassette players that come with an AUX cable. 😂
