WJBR also made the switch at 10am.106.1 The Breeze has went all Christmas as of 10am.
I'm kind of surprised that B101 hasn't pulled the trigger already to make sure the Breeze doesn't steal any of their Christmas thunder.I suspect b101 will switch to Christmas music sometime Next week.
You are from Mars, Christmas music lovers are from Venus.Well, that's one station taken off of my presets for the next month and a half...
Especially for someone who, most likely, is not in a Nielsen household. Fine, you don't like the music, then don't listen to the station until Dec. 26. It's not like you'd be encouraging the programming tradition to continue if you were to accidentally listen to a few seconds of it after pushing the wrong button. In fact, that sort of momentary listening wouldn't even matter if you WERE carrying a PPM.I won’t go to great effort to tune in, but “I’m taking it off my presets!” seems a bit of an overreaction?
I suspect the Breeze is going for the lightest Christmas tunes, and likely leaving out what B101 is playing right now "Carol of the Bells" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra with Metallica.
Just in time to hear Helen Little at 10am after Val Knight's morning show.106.1 The Breeze has went all Christmas as of 10am.
Not true. When The Breeze first launched, they flipped to all-Christmas early in the season, but then flipped back to their normal playlist once B-101 flipped. This is the first year 106.1 The Breeze has played Christmas music. In the past, they never played a single Christmas song, even on Christmas itself.
