OK, will he be like almost all of the other talk show hosts who now changes his tune on the virus? Or will he hold to his staunch position instead?
 
Reportedly. Nothing officially announced by him, WRKO or iHeart as far as testing positive for COVID. The Universal Hub report is going off some random tweet by a conservative blogger. The patch article is going off of The Universal Hub.

There is testing positive, and there is being sick, and there is being deathly ill.

He could do the show from home if he were up to it
 
Drives me nuts that people are politicizing this virus. Reason being that politics and logic never go hand and hand.

When I had it, I felt like it was a more intense common cold. Only when I lost taste and smell for a few says did it seem different. Yet, I had family who nearly died from it. But, we have two polarizing camps. One side is Chicken Little, and the other side is out of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The truth resides in the middle. Yes, only 2% of people infected have severe reactions and/or die. But, 2% of a billion people is 200 million people. That's like saying 50% of the class failed the test, just to find out that there are only two students in the class. That's roughly 250 sold out Football Stadiums.

So, I hope the best for Kuhner, but perhaps getting away from the shtick will give him a bit more protection from the virus, as in getting it and it not potentially hospitalizing him or worse.
 
I question some these un-vaxed hosts who I think may have got the shot but aren't admitting it. Someone like George Noory who talks 5 nights a week about not getting it and makes million$. Is he really chancing-- at 70+ with a new contract-- his whole operation just to behave like a nitwit.

iHeart New York Mandating Vaccine - Radio Ink

iHeartMedia employees in New York state were told they have until December 27th to prove they have been vaccinated for COVID-19. A memo went out to employees citing New York City, New York State and Federal vaccine mandate requirements.

Update Iheart has issued a Vaccine mandate for Staff to update their vaccine records by December 27th to meet New York States Vaccine mandates and for Iheart staff to enter their New York offices.

But some of these anti-vax hosts are in it to hype up the 2022 elections for Governors and we find ourselves running into a chicken and egg argument. You have one set of accusers going after Trump and the Talk show host for radicalizing the governors. Another set of accusers say the Governors are radicalizing the the voters and talk show hosts. Either way the pattern ends one way these "un-vaxxed hosts" or unreported vaccinated hosts and politicians are in it to hype up the 2022 elections and will end deadly one way or another because some of the voters ended up falling for the stuff the Governors are ranting about.

More seriously, would Jeff lose more credibility by getting vaxxed versus not being heard from again because he was let go by or resigned from WRKO?

The whole "supernatural/conspiracy/wacko talk" format pioneered by Art Bell has always been about behaving like an illogical, reality-denying nitwit.
 
Kuhner did his show two days when he was sick.

According to what he said on the air, he thinks he got it from one of his children. I can definitely relate to that. My daughter, who is in pre-school, has been sent home twice in the past 4 weeks as being a "close contact" with someone in her class who tested positive. Fortunately (AFAIK) she never developed it, although she's been mildly sick a couple of times in the past month.

Kuhner has also said on air in the past he is diabetic and has asthma. So he has a couple of health issues which are known to create complications with COVID.

If I were him (and in many respects, I am, I'm slightly older than he is and I am borderline type 2 diabetic and have mild asthma) I would have gotten the jab (and I did, for those reasons). I wasn't particularly thrilled about taking an untested 'vaccine', especially MRNA technology. Eventually I opted for the J&J vaccine due to my concerns with MRNA technology.

Kuhner isn't anti-vax. He has stated he would "likely" take the NovaVax shot once it was approved, because it is a more traditional protein-based vaccination. He has concerns about the MRNA vaccines, as I did. That's why I opted to take the J&J, which is a viral-vector vaccine.

Sadly, there is a lot of misinformation and Alex-Jones-like conspiracy-nut stuff that comes out of his show. I can't figure out if its just plain ignorance, or an act.

I agree. Have a coworker whose "fully vaxxed and boosted" brother in law is in the hospital w/ covid pneumonia.

Reality is that if Omicron is as transmissible as some are saying, most will end up contracting COVID (as evidenced by the growing list of triple-vaxed people coming down with it, such as K000ner's favorite Senator). K00000ner chose not to mitigate risk of severe illness by taking the vaccine; hopefully he and his fully-vaxed cohort Senator Warren recover.

Whether or not it is as transmissible I think more will come down with it simply due to people getting tired of dealing with this "TWO WEEKS TO FLATTEN THE CURVE" (which is now going on 2 years) stuff and consequently will continue to put themselves in situations where they're at greater risk of exposure. Plus, other than the zealots on both sides of the political aspect, most folks in the middle are growing skeptical of the continuous hype those in "charge" are increasingly peddling, even some of my more liberal friends are starting to eyeroll when they hear the word "variant".

Jeff has a couple of choices, get his employers to let him out of his contract as a employee and bring him back as a HC type of deal (hey he could go NATIONAL BAYBEEE) as self syndicated even if it is only to WRKO.... Where this would leave Nancy your guess is as good as mine.... or he takes the jab.

IMHO Kuhner could not get another radio gig in a top 50 market, so if he wants to stay employed he has to think quick or get the shot.

I guess he could follow Dr Grace into the real estate business.
