For now but iHeartRadio has a December 27th deadline for staff members to update their vaccine records to enter their New York offices.

True it sounds like some of the right have followed Trump's actions and get vaccinated for real.
But in rhetoric they have to deal with governors campaigns that are more radical than Trump himself when it comes to the vaccine requirements.

I agree Alex Jones is a has been. However someone like Candace Owens does have a sway factor here among pundits and within the Maga crowd.
without taking this topic off the rails, what The Bad Orange Man said was it should be up to the individual as to get the jab or not.

I can too, with the caveat that, if people decline to get the vaccine, they're on the hook for their own medical bills if they catch Covid and become seriously ill. If they chose to follow advice from an uneducated talk show host or politician rather than medical science and chose not to get the jab, that is indeed their choice. But some choices come with ramifications. In this case, the choice not to get the jab should indicate they've also made the choice to cover any medical bills for their own treatment if they get sick.

Tuned into RKO just after 6a Monday morning to see if CK was back. I didn't hear CK shout his signature GOOD MORNING Boston open or Nancy Shack's sultry tones that are reminiscent of a woman on a late night 900 number spot. RKO is running that generic news program hosted by a guy called Bloomdaddy. His first guest was a bottle cap expert talking about the dangers posed by out of control flying Champaign corks. I for one feel much better heading into New Years Eve knowing that these out of control identified flying objects can reach speeds of more that 25 mph. For those listening online you can hear the breaking news update from October 15th. This same report has been running everyday since the middle of October.

OMG OMG OMG we're all gonna die from injuries sustained from flying Champagne corks, OMG OMG OMG! Better wear a mask, just in case! Michael Harrison was filling in for Jim Polito on Talk1200 so I turned on RKO to see who was filling in for Kuhner, Sandy's been doing promos on Talk1200 saying they'll be back after the New Year so I was curious as to who the fill in would be and as soon as I heard him say Bloomdaddy I immediately switched back to Talk1200. He filled in on Talk1200 awhile back and all he did was talk about how he's divorced, yawn.
Bloomdaddy (David Bloomquist) broadcasts from WWVA in Wheeling, WV. It seems Clear Channel started syndicating him on a few stations in that general area of the country. They've also used him to fill in on some Pittsburgh area stations on occasion.
Would they have considered Doug VB Goudie from sister WGY? Unless he's on a holiday break... Our area familiar with VB...
Howie Carr had someone from Cape Gun Works in for him yesterday. In the past his fill ins have included his producers, Col David Hunt, Curt Schilling, etc Schilling was marketed as a Saturday morning show by Howie Carr Radio Network but couldn't clear any stations; was online only for awhile. Grace Curley fared better.
Kuhner himself did fill ins for Howie awhile back.

I met Art at his house in 2015, about a month before he relaunched his talk show.
We didnt get too in depth about much, but i kinda gathered that ...that he liked what he did, that he didnt necessarily beleive everything he said, but he knew his listeners did... he put on a good show without being ove the top like Alex jones.
This is what I've always hoped Michael Savage was all about. Tossing the most outrageous stuff he could out there knowing that his fans lapped it up, mindlessly. Good to see Bell, whose show I despised, had the same low opinion of the people who made his show a success.
I never said he had a low opinion..... I don't think he did. To me, theres a difference between having a low opinion of someone and giving someone something they want.
He was a gracious host at his house... got to see his awesome ham shack and antennas too
Because he peddled hokum and let his listeners believe it. Did he preface his discussions of UFOs, crop circles, and the like with "Of course, this is nonsense" or some other disclaimer? Americans are being fed enough pseudo-science and science denial without having it pushed on them as "entertainment" without being told that what they're hearing is fiction or, at best, improbably speculation.
If people believe everything they hear and see from the media and the government then they deserve what they get!
I don't think he "peddled" hokum. He had some discussions about some fascinating things that are worthy of interesting discussion. i.e. Before we found out that crop circles were man-made...it was a fascinating topic to most people.
Nearly 2/3rds of Americans believe in some form of the paranormal.
You don't believe it's likely that UFOs are very real? Which is certainly worthy of discussion.
I get Alex Jones hawking stuff like iodine pills to his audience is nonsense, but things like UFOs or ghosts, or the other topics that a show like Coast 2 Coast entertains are fun.
