Nobody cares if it's original or not. Just play what we like.

Noticed Easy 99.1 now includes titles from 2000's like Maroon 5 and Natasha Bedingfield.
And if they're playing Natasha Bedingfield's big hits ("Unwritten," "Pocketful of Sunshine"), they're playing songs that are around 15 years old. I'm not even hearing those on most Hot ACs now. They always have played those. Nothing new, they just don’t focus on the newer stuff.
One of the things I love most about Easy is that nearly nothing is off limits in terms of their playlist. And if they're playing Natasha Bedingfield's big hits ("Unwritten," "Pocketful of Sunshine"), they're playing songs that are around 15 years old. I'm not even hearing those on most Hot ACs now.

Just one thing....songs that are not hits, or not known at all, oh, and 50s music
I don't hear much from their playlist that was not defined as a "hit."Just one thing....songs that are not hits, or not known at all
The format is defined, but the definition is opened up wider than any one else, but within the definition , if that makes any senseI don't hear much from their playlist that was not defined as a "hit."
Agreed. Seemingly every time I listen to Easy, I hear a song that I have not heard in decades. The programming is unbelievably good. Even with all those gems that no one else plays, Easy manages to play the songs that the more "corporate" stations constantly play. For example, everything on WROR's playlist can be heard on Easy. But Easy has thousands more songs in its playlist/library than WROR (the latter of which, because of its constant repetition and tight playlight, I find unlistenable). The format is defined, but the definition is opened up wider than any one else, but within the definition , if that makes any sense
Actually, it’s Rob Hogan.I think they have a morning show with Steve Mason. Last I knew anyway.
