Format Change: KMMM 1290 Pratt, KS

@cyberdad between 430 and 440 it wouldve been the nitty gritty dirt band mary chapin carpenter and wade hayes. Dolly Partons 9 to 5 was also WTCH, FYI
Thanks. Hopefully I'll be able to catch you at some point when the signal is stronger or elsewhere on the dial. Are you on a station that is, or could be, audible in Pensacola? I plan to spend all of February in that area.

all ive got in the south is two FMs in LA, an AM in NW AL... and a few AMs in NC

The station has dropped its Hot AC format and is running Local Radio Network's classic country format outside of the local DJ hosted classic country morning show. The station ID's as The mighty 1290 and will make reference to 96.7, 96.7 KSOB or Kansas Country 96.7 at times.

Listen for me as the overnight DJ 11pm to 5am central 7 days a week

Paul Walker
The station returned to country. It was always country in the 70s, from what I recall when I lived there. Maybe not classic country, but country the same.

I'm in a good tropo spot. Albeit the wrong time of year. But I'm also on the 6th floor. Bottom line is I get tropo all the time from Louisiana and some of the time in winter as well. So go ahead and send me the calls/frequencies, and I'll take a whack at it! :)
