No increases for KVVF Latino Mix on both San Francisco/San Jose markets. Doesn't seem to be doing well.
Either that, or maybe move some of the Reggaeton songs to KBRG Amor 100.3. KLVE 107.5 in Los Angeles has a different form of Spanish AC which has some Reggaeton songs mixed with the Latin Contemporary format. As for KVVF/KVVZ maybe bringing back the Spanish Adult Hits Recuerdo format is worth to experiment as what KRCD/KRCV in LA has been doing since the HBC days. It did well when it was on KBRG as Recuerdo. It's never done well in the Bay Area. The only area where it's had moderate success is San Jose. If they insist on keeping 100.7 as Latino Mix, they really should go back to their old format; half English, half Spanish. Otherwise, the audience for that station is so small. You can only listen to so much reggaeton.
Yeah, that is why reggaetón/rhythmic hits stations are at or near the top from Chile to Miami. You can only listen to so much reggaeton.

Signal.Still waiting for your response David
I know radio locator coverage maps are not the most reliable, but KVVZ shows a strong signal over both San Francisco and Oakland. KVVF not so much.I would imagine the KVVZ 65 dbu doesn't cover most of San Francisco and Oakland if signal is an issue.
Nice to know about rabbitears.info with Longley-Rice maps. Much better detail with better accuracy. Thanks!Longley-Rice shows this picture. Know that you will find challenged areas for just about all of the Bay Area FMs due to local terrain.
