Miranda Lambert was a surprising Entertainer of the Year, especially since Carly Pearce won the Female Artist award. It was a big year for women: Lainey Wilson's "Things a Man Ought to Know" was Song of the Year, Wilson was New Female Artist, and Elle King and Lambert's "Drunk and I Want to Go Home" was Video of the Year.
I suppose the big news will be that Morgan Wallen's "Dangerous" took Album of the Year, but on content and sales, it deserved it, IMO.
