Radio Insight is reporting that a likely format change to 103.9 WJKR "Jack FM" could be coming soon.
If NABCO goes Country with 103.9 would they have any local staff? As far back as I can remember 103.9 it has never had any local personalities. When it was Ted FM it ran a automated format like they have been doing with Jack FM. When it was "News Radio 103.9 WMNI" it ran syndicated programming.
I can't see a fully automated jock=less country format doing well on 103.9 against powerhouse 92.3 WCOL across the river.
