I know it is nit-picking and obsessive... and overly nerdy, 🤓 but they have a 4.7 share. The rating is about a 0.4 as the Persons using radio (PUR) in the market is just under a 7 for 6 AM to midnight.WROR and The Sports Hub #1 and #2 respectively. Mix 104.1 having a 4,7 rating. When was the last time they were that high?

I know 6+, but is WEEI FM really that low?
anyone with real numbers care to clue us in to where they really are say in 18 to 34 Males compared to 98.5?
My take is that it comes down to perception. WEEI has the "Dad's sports station" reputation. Then add that three of the four main sports have deals with The Sports Hub, and it's the one-two punch.I know 6+, but is WEEI FM really that low?

iHeart isn’t exactly concerned about the ratings of these stations as much as they are for building out a national Spanish ad buy platform, but I do wonder if ratings would eventually factor in if they fail to gain much long term traction.Rumba continues to get beat by a AM station.. seems Philadelphias rumba is not doing any better .. I heart seems to struggle Programming Latin formats outside of Florida . Even in Atlanta they are getting beat!
The station is not bought based on ratings.... it is part of a package of Spanish language stations that are sold based on, simply, being in Spanish in markets without large percentages of Hispanics but which marketers want to reach.Rumba continues to get beat by a AM station.. seems Philadelphias rumba is not doing any better .. In those smaller markets, particularly ones with no HDHA and DST implementation, the ratings are not important to agencies buying Hispanic targeted campaigns.iHeart isn’t exactly concerned about the ratings of these stations as much as they are for building out a national Spanish ad buy platform, but I do wonder if ratings would eventually factor in if they fail to gain much long term traction.
Do we know where they rank in the 18-34, and 25-54 demos?Interesting that WXKS’s decline seems to start when Matt Siegel retired. WBMX and to a lesser extent WBQT started rising at that same time. Are those Matty listeners that aged out of the music but were still listening to because of Matty? They finally left for a music format that suits their tastes more at WBMX? Also, other Matty listeners who turned to the familiar voice of Ramiro on WBQT? There is likely a decent sized crossover of the Kiss audience with Jam’n’s audience 10-15 years ago when they had big ratings with Ramiro as their morning host.
The poster's question was about WEEI-FM, not the Sports Hub.![]()

I don't know where he is in the 25 to 54, or 55 to dead P1's, but what do they put there?I see Kuhner continues to be an albatross around WRKO's neck.
I always thought the WRKO Morning Show with Kim Carrigan and VB was pretty decent, all in all. I'm sure it stuck in the craw of 'RKO's right-wing listeners, though.I don't know where he is in the 25 to 54, or 55 to dead P1's, but what do they put there?
The Sports Hub owns male 18 to 54 demographic..... what could WRKO put in there to make a better showing than what is there now?
Probably nothing.
As long as the advertisers still buy his show he is safe.
He isn't going anywhere, who would have him?
There isn't a market in the country that would touch him with a 10 foot Pole, or a 6'9" WNBA player
They could have kept Doug Goudie after their last morning show imploded.... they didn't
He needs them, they need him, it is like a bad marriage that neither party wants to leave
When that show started in 2015, it was the Boston dot com morning show and was supposed to have originated at the Glob's newsroom.... there is no way that does not have a liberal spin on it.I always thought the WRKO Morning Show with Kim Carrigan and VB was pretty decent, all in all. I'm sure it stuck in the craw of 'RKO's right-wing listeners, though.
I would venture to guess one of the biggest problems with that show was two "name" local personalities who probably did not come cheap, and a couple of other cast members.... there were at least 4 on air voices and who knows who was off mic.I always thought the WRKO Morning Show with Kim Carrigan and VB was pretty decent, all in all.
