Changes at Hot 99.5 WXNR

Okay, this makes a bit more sense now. Just out of curiosity, what is airing on WAVQ 1400 in Jacksonville (the original content 'feeder' of the 95.5 translator)? Are they still airing Beach Boogie and Blues, as I see there's a 101.1 FM translator there doing that now (via WIKS 101.9's HD channel) and AM 1400 is translating on 106.1 FM now.

Beach, Boogie and Blues is the WNCT-AM 1070 format and it's on 102.9 FM as well. That's a class A FM.

In addition to WNCT and WELS, it's also fed--via WIKS FM-HD2--to three translators across the market, the aforementioned 101.1 in Jacksonville (W266AV) as well as 95.7/New Bern (W239BC) and 105.9/Winterville (W290CB). But it was added to Jacksonville's WAVQ 1400 AM/106.1 FM (W291DO) when Curtis bought the station two-three years ago, and WAVQ originally translated on FM via W238CF 95.5. I'm asking if BB&B is heard in Jacksonville at both 101.1 and 106.1.

The 103.3 program feed is on one of 106.5’s HD channels. i assume that’s what feeds the Jacksonville translator. Same for 99.5’s program feed; one is 106.5 HD2 and one is HD3.
