Of iHeart's station, which would you say is worth cutting revenue to bring WRKO to FM. WBZ is also owned by iHeart, and I would presume that to be in a higher priority to be put on FM, while they haven't done so yet.I agree with Howie, they should put WRKO on an FM 'stick', especially now with the success of the Grace Curley
Show, who is attracting a younger demographic to talk radio.
And remember to activate Bluetooth on your phone so it gets the cell signal inside tunnels that are wired for it.Older tech: get a mini FM transmitter.
Put phone on WRKO streaming. Plug the transmitter into phone jack and select an open FM frequency.
And they went and spent it all at McDonalds on a single meal.Having said that, there are some interesting points in that column, including that someone dumped 7 million shares of Audacy stock last Friday.
Jeff, Grace and Howie are live and LOCAL. They are entertaining their audience and are great at selling the advertiser message. I know the 6 and up numbers look good but most of the audience is over 54 so the billing isn’t great. Still, very few markets have two heritage AMs in the top 10.I do wonder what iHeart has done to get WRKO's ratings up quite a bit (at least in the 12+ numbers) from where they were under Entercom/Audacy. Grace Curley is newish of course, but Kuhner and Howie have been there under Audacy as well as the financial exchange.
I will not open that door again. The great "if an HD Radio plays in the woods, and nobody is there to hear it, does it make a noise" argument. All joking aside, HD Radio doesn't have the reach that would be viable to constitute being equal of an analog FM signal. They are both on FM. WZLX HD2 and they sound really good. Time for a new car?

I'll be socratic with your reply. If it's not supposed to be equal to an FM signal, then why do members here always say that stations like WRKO and WBZ 1030 are available on HD2s, when people here request to bring such stations to FM?Who said it's supposed to be equal to an analog FM signal?
