Royce International saga, update

According to the FCC, they're still silent.
KREV never filed a resumption of operation when they debuted the Dance format in November. Per the FCC rules that would make their license expired as of February 23. This will be an interesting curveball into the proceedings. FCC likely will keep the station alive if they show proof of operations of course.

Ed Stolz is the broadcasting equivalent of a cockroach. The FCC doesn't have a can of Raid big enough to get rid of him.

Based on this, it appears to be up to the trustee to keep the license alive:

At the time of resumption it was in Stolz' control again. The trustee will additionally likely be able to use that to help get the license retroactively kept alive.

Upon returning to the Bay Area I can check to see what's at 92.7. If KREV is on, I'll definitely be able to tell. Stay tuned, as they say.

I didn’t realize that we had a lack of local folks in the thread.

Today, at 9:59AM, KREV-FM 92.7 was cleanly picked up from Redwood City, CA.

Additionally, I’ve noticed their signal coming in more consistently in the last few weeks, I’ve had them on the dial and the difference is clear.

They very rarely do call, but they do call KREV-FM 92.7. They’re still branded as pirate radio. “EDM finally has a home, the new 92.7, KREV Alameda”

Beautiful tuner/amp!
Thanks. I've had the tuner for more than 30 years. It was refurbished about 15 years ago and has sounded great ever since...as long as the source material is good (which is not the case for some Bay Area FM stations!). The FM section has sensitivity and selectivity comparable to DSP-based radios, with better stereo separation and distortion. The AM section is reasonably sensitive and has a frequency rolloff somewhere between 4 and 5 kHz, which leads to good selectivity. The preamp is a matching component in the NAD Monitor series, but I bought it used, also about 15 years ago.

When you see “pro se”, even if the defendant is a lawyer by trade, you know you’re in for a good time.

This time does it include KBET-AM as well?
