Nice! I remember The Beat didn't have the HD2 for a long time
Not likely. Some radio people don't seem to listen to their stations. KKYX680 - no highs, KSAH720 - horrible clicking sound at night, KYTY810 - way too much mid range boost, KBIB1000 - 10% modulation, KEDA1540 - over modulation, KWED1580 - no bass, KPPC96.9 - Horrible drop outs. I'm sure there are more, especially it one wants to criticize all the amplitude squashing distortion. On the other hand, there are a lot of really excellent sounding stations on the dial.Let me add that the audio on 98.5 HD2 is really low. This needs to be fixed asap
I thought we were talking about radio here. KPPC sounds horrible on a radio. There is a huge dropout every few tens of seconds. Tonight there is no audio at all, which is typical for them, just a real strong carrier.KPPC sounds fine online now.
That’s weird KXTN was missing in San Antonio. It stayed on in Houston and Dallas.Latino Mix is now on 92.9 HD-2 & 98.5 HD-2. Tejano is back on 107.5 HD-2.

Not expensive and worth it.They fixed it.
I would just use a Barix, I've heard those work nicely when set up correctly. A bit expensive, but maybe worth it.
