Randy Meisner, Founding Member of The Eagles and Singer of ‘Take It to the Limit,’ Dies at 77

Meisner was a key part of those early Eagles records. Great vocals on many of the album tracks like "Saturday Night". RIP...

Up in the skies with Glenn Frey now. May he forever RIP, condolences to Don Henley and his other bandmates from The Eagles, and his friends/family.

"Take it to the Limit" was one of my faves by them, as well. We even played it on country radio, although I don't know how "country" it really was.
There was always a big discussion as to whether the Eagles were a crossover band or not. Then someone mentioned "Country Rock" and the issue was moot.

What a versatile and talented group of guys!
