Randy Meisner, a founding member of the Eagles, has died at 77.
That certainly is his best known vocal performance and it's very impressive...Obligatory "and I'm not just saying this because he's gone."
Take It To The Limit is by far my favorite Eagles song. RIP.

There was always a big discussion as to whether the Eagles were a crossover band or not. Then someone mentioned "Country Rock" and the issue was moot."Take it to the Limit" was one of my faves by them, as well. We even played it on country radio, although I don't know how "country" it really was.
He was no longer with them when that song came out in 1979. He left them after Hotel CalifoniaWe all have a heartache tonight… RIP Randy
