Wrong again. The FCC and the Courts will not become involved in your bad business decisions.

The train has already left the station, and you didn't have a ticket. Stop beating a dead horse and move on.
Let's let this ´play out on its own without a shooting match here. We'll close the thread otherwise.

Again, discussion about KHTW should go on the Texas board.😤The station has no Houston presence.😡
Best post in this entire thread! (I moved this to "Texas" and out of "Houston" per your suggestion).

True, but it does cover to the west as far as Anahauc. As does 105.3. I think 105.3 would cover into East Houston, if it weren't being clobbered by a 28-watt translator.

K287BQ is actually “99 watts” with a null to the north. That translator easily makes it past the Buc-ees.

KHTW doesn’t cover anything outside the triangle.
As a city grade contour, yor are correct. However, having a station which is currently producing a city grade contour within the Golden Triangle is infinitely-preferable to a station which is producing no contour whatsoever, from 2015 to 2021. During the majority of that period, it was silent.

I don't know what you're trying to say. I could own KFON and could make a Facebook page for it claiming it's "Houston's number 1 Ram Ranch station". Doesn't mean that station should be discussed in the Houston thread.

You could own it, but you'd be better off buying a shotgun and a well worn 1982 Chrysler New Yorker 5th Avenue from your local junkyard to use for target practice. You'll get a ton more satisfaction from it, and it will be a much better return on your initial investment.

The title of this thread is "EMF for Free in the Golden Triangle." Since Houston is not a part of the Golden Triangle, it would seem that the entire thread doesn't belong in the Houston/Galveston group. But for some reason, your focus isn't on the thread per se, but a single station within the thread which, last I checked, had nothing to do with EMF.

Amen sir! I'm getting a kick out of reading these posts about the radio dial in the Houston and South East part of Texas areas. What I'm seeing is a hoot :ROFLMAO: but also sad. Just my two cents here: If a radio station claims to be a Houston player but has no receivable signal within any part of the city, then they have no business even calling themselves one.

P.S. To all those trying to stop the lawbreaking, in Houston, I wish you all the best. Keep at it! (y)

As of yesterday 105.3 is KLTW now. Just checked and their PI code has been updated to reflect that.
