Bubba's Show Has Turned Into A Telethon.

Have you heard his show on 820 lately? Bubba could be in the middle of a bit or a rant, only to have Lummy (sp?) pipe in to report that a listener just sent the show money via PayPal or Venmo. I know Todd's fallen on hard times but come on!

He really ruined his career with the ratings scandal he should have left it alone he had a whole station with his own personality’s and a replay at midnight who would mess that up

How many stations is he on now? I can’t find a definitive affiliate list anywhere. I know he is on some rimshot AMs near Detroit and Pittsburgh. I don’t think he’s on the big FM in Charleston, SC anymore (which coincidentally is called 98 Rock). I’m not sure he has any FM affiliates now.

That's news to me. The last time his show aired here (Metro Detroit) was about a decade ago on a 99 watt garbage FM signal. The station was burning through cash so the owner (Martz Communications) pulled the plug. That occurred maybe two months after Bubba's show began airing.

He's streaming on Twitch. That's why you hear the references to tips and donations. The show is focused on the streaming platform and not traditional radio stations.
I’m aware of that, especially with the heavy promotion of streaming on his website. Still I’m curious about his affiliate count.

Actually I think it was a Flint station that they were trying to sell as a Detroit signal.

You are thinking of 1160 Fenton, I suspect. They air Brother Stair fulltime now.

That is now an in-market signal. TX site was moved about 30 miles southward a few years ago.

When the TX site was still in Fenton, I remember them airing Imus for a spell.

In Orlando he's on WFYY 103.1 HD3 & 105.5 (translator north of the city). In Ocala/Gainesville he's on another HD subchannel with a translator (not sure of the call letters or numbers). In Fort Walton Beach he's on a full power FM, WZLB 103.1.

They've got their own web site completely wrong. Logos, stations, everything. 820 is the main station with a TRANSLATOR on 98.3 (No Max). It's also mostly sports as the Big 820, not news/talk. He's also not on 1040 and I doubt VERY seriously he's on 96.7 Music Tampa Bay in St Pete. The others are a random list of old logos and stations because the Orlando station is Florida Man Radio on translator 105.5. Same goes for the one in Ft Walton Beach. He pretty much buys time on Genesis and JVC stations. That's it.

What was the situation that caused Bubba to get swept under the rug? The Arbitron fiasco?

Makes you think he should’ve stayed at Sirius and ride Howard’s coattails for the past 18 years. He’d be making more money and not having to take donations on Twitch (which is the CashApp of streaming platforms)
